THIS IS WHAT ANNOYS ME TO NO END. Some of us were born with a fast metabolism, please do not hate us for it.

As someone who is naturally thin, these kinds of messages can be incredibly damaging to a person’s self esteem in much the same way as calling somebody “fat” is. 

Being told, “go eat a cheeseburger, skinny” or “jeez, you look anorexic” on a regular basis because of the natural shape of my body has affected me in ways that most people don’t even realise.

This is body-shaming, and it is NOT okay.

I have a really hard time gaining weight because I have a fast metabolism. Boys is middle school would call me “annie” because they thought I was anorexic. They told me I had the body of a 6 year-old boy. Being called “too skinny” is just as bad as being called “too fat”.

also the shaming of people who lose weight/exercise needs to end. if someone is losing weight because they want to then fuck off it’s none of your business
